Sub,
My ISP has had major problems, so no internet connections since my last post. Sorry for the delayed response.
Since the above patch, I have had crashes (even after rebooting):
When trying to watch back a running recording (only when digital & encrypted) on the MVP (on the PC: just not playing video).
I attached the logs.

Sub, since your patch I've had crashes on the MVP and no recording playing back on the PC.
See logs in post #162.

In my situation it's wasn't working on Win7 2.2.6 R2p but it works on a client that is only R1p. So I patched over the R2 with R1 but kept the "Utility.dll" -- no change.
My XP 2.2.6 works and is atleast R1 but I'm not sure and can't check right now to see if it is R2.
I'll get some logs your way tonite.

No, it looks like it's going to start playing the video, but then returns to the menu.

If you set BlockEncrypted=0 in the registry, then restart everything, does it go back to how it was? It should. It was previously ignoring this setting (due to a spelling mistake). All I did was fix that spelling mistake to allow you to enable the BlockEncrypted logic, which sounds like it's not working.

Well, I was thinking something similar because I got it working, then I put an old image back and installed (R2p) from there again. Maybe something is installed in the wrong order and therefore not working like it should?

I am trying to understand this, but by doing this the video does play back on the PC but also on the MVP. AND the timeline (on the MVP) is correct.
Because this doesn't make any sense to me, I will be testing some more.
