HD PVR Problems

I am WANTING to use RCA Back but everytime I select it and go back to the settings, it changes it back to SPDIF automatically.

And again, I am a noob, but the only thing I see in the NPVR folder is NRecord.exe and trying to open it fails. Is that what you want? Again, sorry.

Do you have the patches from http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...arted-info installed?

I thought one of them added some more logging which might be useful in diagnosing your problem.

Unfortunately I cant tell the source of your problem from those logs, and I'm at a point in the release cycle where my build is no longer compatible with yours, so I cant give you a patch with more logging. Sorry.

This log message is strange, StartStream(7148:Component) do you have your channels setup? I think the HDPVR settings are stored with the channel data, so if you don't have any data you might be running from the default graph settings and not what shows in the NPVR setup.

I only have 1 channel setup, because that is the only channel I need, and it set to component with the HD PVR selected. So, yes, I guess I have my channels setup.

Are you absolutely positive you selected the component input when you created the channel? This is one of the key things I wanted to check in your logs but I cant without a patch. I usually prefer to check this type of things myself, rather than taking people's word for it, because often people claim one but the logs show it not to be true. If it was incorrectly set to svideo/composite, but didnt have this type of signal available, then you'd get the symptoms you describe.
