I was running v1.5.36 OK. I've tried to update to v2 before and ran into this problem. I would like to get the current version running. So I'm trying again.

As soon as I try to watch TV I get the "Please wait..." then "Unable to communicate"; the channel select takes place as I can see the led flash. This happens within about 3 seconds.
The NPVR-log shows this error:
2011-11-03 06:34:57.328 [ERROR][1] Unexpected error calling StartStream(): System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format.

I am attaching the log file.

Let me know if you need anything else.

I'm running XP-Pro on an AMD Phenom II quad 940. Lots of HD space ~3.5 Tb.

Can you reproduce the problem, then post the matching npvr.log and nrecord.log?

Here they are. I had already attached the NPVR.log file...

It's a solid problem, fails the same way everytime.

So if you run that manually from a command prompt, what happens?

That log shows the same thing. The last think in the log is running HaupBlast.exe. Try running it manually with a channel number.

The blaster flashes and the receiver switches to that channel...

BTW, when I try to view TV with NPVR, the error occurs and the NPVR icon turns red.

What about the errors on the NPVR.log?

I thought I'd uninstall and reinstall using RevoUninstaller. I removed all my definitions in the process. Well, it looks visually different but the error is still the same.

Maybe try deleting your npvr.db3, then setup your channels again. If it still does the same thing then zip and attach your npvr.db3 and I'll take a look.

Can you point me to the guide for setting up channels again? I'm using SchedulesDirect.
