This is another change in the NPVR stop logic. Try this new dongle, http://www.mvpmc.org/~mvallevand/dongle4npvr3.7z

Quote:- it takes 5 seconds after pushing start button before music starts. In this time the cursor doesn't seem to respond either. After the 5 seconds, the cursor seems to have moved anyway.

I get a pause too, you forgot the logs but the issue seems to be this unknown pause between songs

2011-10-30 09:10:28.689 [DEBUG][3] Got ACK
2011-10-30 09:10:30.673 [DEBUG][3] MVP request processed

Quote:- Just 1 song is being played, not the whole cd. But that may be a change since 1.3.7?

I guess you didn't bother reading the wiki link I posted earlier.

Quote:- Is it normal that pushing play twice, restarts the song (so it's not pause and play further)?

Plays doesn't act like pause while playing.

Quote:- ">>" doesn't do anything, is that normal? Shouldn't it skip .. seconds?

I don't think this ever did in GBPVR either.

Quote:- "back", "view", "playlist" and "shuffle" isn't visible at the top of the screen when pushing cursor up (2.2.6 functionality, not included in the fix?)

It only works with cursor left but the better key is the Menu key on the MVP and Home on the PC.

Sub in testing this update

- sometimes stop is treated as a Video stop no pattern
- if a song stops in the screen saver "Now Playing" isn't emptied even going back to the main screen.
- the very first song doesn't show "Now Playing" this has been reported before.
- delay in switching songs, you can work with WKleeven on this.

This dongle fixes that problem.

I did read it and I already had the setting "Music Library, auto queue all remaining directory files" on. I think it just doesn't work.
From my config.xml:
<AutoQueueAudioTracks>true</AutoQueueAudioTracks>
<QueueAudioTracksInsteadOfReplace>false</QueueAudioTracksInsteadOfReplace>

Sorry, without your logs I was assuming what is happening and I was wrong to do that. This last update to NextPVR does appear to break queue playback.

No problem, I'm just glad you and Sub are looking into the matter.

So, issues I'm still having:

- it takes 5 seconds after pushing start button before music starts. In this time the cursor doesn't seem to respond either. After the 5 seconds, the cursor seems to have moved anyway.
- With the patch: Just 1 song is being played, not the whole cd despite correct setting in config.

Applied the patch, rebooted (with the latest dongle and the setting in config correct):

1. Previously it took 5 seconds for music to play, now it plays immediately. That's solved.
2. Previously just 1 song played,
now: first song plays with songtitle in the bottom of the screen, then second but no songtitle and then music stops totally.

This patch breaks multi-track playback on the NMT too. Between tracks I see the same error as WKleeven

Code:

Man I'm growing to hate the way I have to interact with the NMT/MVP. Its painful.

Try this one.
