To start off with this is the wrong thread for this message & this reply...

Secondly it's way too late now it was released as NextPVR (which I don't mind actually) & is known as nPVR (which I dislike muchly) so that's the way it is.

Dear Mr Jaggy,

((who I have grown very fond of during to's and fro's on this forum) Where should this thread be placed? )

Dear Mr Jaggy,

I just want to know what is the 'right' thread for this reply? Go on, bump to it? No response means = false

Sub,

did you ever get around to adding such an option to config.xml? It may be niche, but I would really appreciate a way of directing music to my hifi and everything else to the TV.

Have you looked at AudioAdjust? It might not be exactly what you need, but perhaps with some tweaks...

Iain, I just installed your plugin, and it certainly works as advertised :-) But if I may be completely unreasonable: I would love it to be controlled by file extension, as an option. I really don't need or want to switch manually.

I pledge a sub(!)stantial donation to NextPVR if, as a result, I can avoid buying another streaming device.

Sub, on a audio-related note, I have been troubled by a nasty digital noise on my TV when I stop viewing a recording with the back button. Yesterday, I realized that if I pause playback, no noise ensues, and I can safely exit the recording.

Would it be possible to have the exit function do whatever it is that pause does, so I don't have to?

Have you tried the usual Stop button instead of Back?

I'll think about it, but as it's a plugin that I don't myself need it's unlikely to get much more attention unless there's a demand from more than one user.

The thing is, I have a family who is quite averse to learning long series of remote keys to accomplish something, and they are used to a simpler, MediaMVP world, where both TV and HiFi where connected simultaneously.

Could I count them as users? :-)

@Reddwarf: I get the same noise when stopping playback. I thought it was the HDMI connection and/or driver that was faulty somehow, but as I said, pausing playback first works fine, so it would be nice if I could skip that step. The noise is quite awful!
