Extracting DVB EPG data?

Does anyone know of a simple method for turning the epg data available via dvb into a gbpvr-friendly xml file? I know that sub has said due to global variation in the quality of epg information he isn't going to implement this feature, but due to the decidedly variable quality of epg data available here (New Zealand) via normal means, this definitely looks like a possibility.

I found someone who has got this working in Linux - combining dvbstream to pull the entire TS off the transponder, then
tv_grab_dvb to create the xml output, but I haven't been able to find any simple Windows equivalents - any ideas?

I seem to remember 'Sash' posting a mechanism in the past. I think it involved using TSReader.

Thanks for that - sash says he uses tsreaderlite to get his epg, although he didn't know whether that would work with the bda drivers.

I had considered it before and will give it a try, although as I had wanted the epg to update automatically and the free tsreaderlite doesn't run from a command line, I would have to work up a kludgy macro or buy the full version - and $99 seems a bit much when I will be using so little of its feature-set.
