Error when playing a dvd

Its been a long long time since I played a dvd, the last time with gbpvr.

I'm getting "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error.
I've looked at my settings but can't see anything obviously wrong.
DVD's play ok in wmp.

Its weird that this happens to every disc from a 6 disc set of dvd's. It pops up at the annoying copyright screens, 3/4 different ones for various countrys .
I tried some different discs without any problems.

I'm not that bothered as I've now ripped them to xvids - the copyright screens were getting on our nerves.

It looks like its something to do with showing the resume prompt.

Are you using the default skin, or some other one?

Ok, I tried 2 different dvds & I had no problems playing from the start or resuming.
These are original UK discs with no copyright warnings

I reinserted the problem discs & they played ok when resume was turned off but not when resume was re-enabled.
I tred another disc from a different set (tv series) & had the same problem on resume.
All the problem discs had 3 copyright screens (Australia, France & UK).

I've just tried the same dvd's on a client pc with no problems...

You could always try deleting the dvd.dat (I think) which is where the resume points are stored It may have a bad place to resume saved for the disc - although if it is happening on multiple discs it is more likely a deliberately badly authored set of discs (Doesn't matter if almost no one can watch them as long as they can't be copied!)
