My SD data is good to Jan 4, but MCE EPG is stopping on the 26th. If anyone is re-enabling SD support in NPVR, the default config.xml setting is only 8 days.

I set SD for 16 days; sometimes I get it, usually just 14.

Seems to vary by location; I've got SD guide through 3 Jan 2012.

And now this from the man at Schedules Direct:

" I just saw a similar thread in a forum. I suspect Tribune is having a problem and it should be fixed shortly."

Thanks for the update. Hopefully, he knows more than he's admitting to and that's the problem.
Checking my Windows Media Center, I was able to get a full download but only when I manually updated the guide. I don't know if Tribune handles MS as well.

yea, Tribune supplies MS media centers as well..[zap2it]
maybe MS is planning on pushing an update for epg processing to it's users...

but most likely Tribune stuffed up things, seems to always happen at dst and end-of-year time..
[i swear it's like they only have 3 typists entering it all.lol]

I'd say its MS. I don't use WMC but I know their guides are empty. I use mc2xml thru MS legacy usually and no data past 12/26.
But if I eliminate MS from the equation and use mc2xml thru SD I'm swimming in two weeks of crispy fresh info.
Just another reason why NPVR rocks!

It appears someone in this thread had a response from MS just today and they issue was on their end.

http://experts.windows.com/frms/windows_...ageIndex=3

"Update: Microsoft has indicated that the root cause of this issue is resolved, but it may take about 8 hours for processing to finish on the data and it to become available for download. The current expectation is that machines should start pulling the new guide data at their check-ins tonight."

Remember, this is the internet, so everything posted is obviously true. I'll wait and see if mine updates. Wink
