Does Air Video do transcoding on the server or on the iPad? If it is on the iPad2, can it transcode 1080i recordings in realtime on the iPad?

So you buy the app on the iPad right?
what do you buy for the server if it handles the transcoding? I'm not quite sure but logic suggests that the Air Video app on the iPad does the heavy lifting as it receives the stream.
