Hi there.

Noticed NPVR will auto adjust the recording time to 5 min earlier when I go update the scheduled task, why is that so ?

For example :
I set a manual recording from 9.45am to 10.15am.
Then later I go update it for whatever reason(maybe change filename), I noticed the recording time will become 9.40am to 10.10am.
Is it supposed to be in this way?

I'm worried I might miss a bit of recording if I didn't pay attention to adjusted timing.

Thank you !

Noticed that it will auto round up if the scheduled recording task's minute is not in the 00, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50.

Set a recording at 7.00am to 9.00am.
After that go update it and the timing didn't change.

Set a recording 11.25pm to 11.32pm to record a shot clip.
After that go update it and the timing changed to 11.20pm to 11.20pm.
Will end up recording for a day if pple didn't notice it.

Hmm, just tested it and can confirm the same behaviour.

When I looked at the details popup (after the update) it showed as being a 0 min recording rather than 24 hours though.

Either way it seems like a bug which needs fixing.

Hi sub.

I think it is not fully fixed in 2.3.6.

If the start time minute is not in the 10 while the end time minute is in the 10, the end time time will be adjusted 10 minutes earlier when updating.

example :
start time 11.02pm
end time 11.30pm
when updating, the end time will become 11.20pm.

Hi sub.

Not sure this bug has been reported or not.
Using 2.3.6 with R1 patches.
This bug is related to "Recurring Recordings" list.

When updating a recording inside the "Recurring Recordings", if the minute of the recording time(either start, end or both) is not in the 10s, the recording time will be changed to many hours difference.

example :
start time 12.55pm
end time 13.33pm
record monday to friday
when updating, the recording time will become 4.55am to 5.33am.

Thank you!

Is this a manual recurring recording, or recurring recording created from a show in the tv guide?

Thanks.
