We have purged our kitchen of all "single use items" due to space constraints... this one would definitely be on the list!

Thanks for the great discussion.

I do! I do! It's a mysterious "prize" that you actually get to pay for. These days you automagically get 3 of them, yet the servers always crash while trying to order as millions of others are doing the same thing. Let's see if anyone else knows before revealing the site name. Wink

I'm pretty sure I know what a BOC is... I've never bought one, but have browsed from time-to-time at the site where such things are sold. I find that the rule of that site is that I should have been there yesterday or the day before; today is always too late.

OK, times up. It is a 'Bag of Crap' from Woot.com. Never been able to get one myself.
What, me worry?

I think they only give the free gift with the first order - you're right though, perhaps I'll email them and suggest free gifts for the first two orders. Endless possibilities - first order one free mitten or one free chopstick.... Big Grin

I cheated and used google which led to a wikipedia page for BOC acronyms after you posted originally about BOC. Now that's definitely a good marketing trick. Smile

Reminds me of that English guy who had a pub here in Norway, on the bar there was a sign saying "Free beer tomorrow!", but it was always tomorrow, no matter when you came to the pub...
