[NPVR 2.3.6] Odd recording in folder devxxxxxx

I noticed this morning that my recording service was recording: c:\devxxxxxx\null.ts on tuner1. This is not my recording folder or buffer folder and it doesn't even exist. NPVR was idle and had no active recordings. i restarted the recording service and it went away.

anybody know what this is?

I wouldn't bet on it, but it could be (at least partially) the epg update.

Even if i were wrong, i can confirm the same behaviour on my digital tuner on the server. The analog tuners doesn't had it.

I wouldn't worry, sometimes there are names in the logs like this that sub uses internally that don't actually create files.

Ok. Just to clarify though, it was showing up againt a tuner when i double-clicked the little "N" icon in the bottom right corner and the icon was Red. I don't know if it was actually tieing up a tuner but it looked like it was. If it does it again, I'll see if the tuner is actually available or not.
