Using ESC to exit live TV goes back to the top of the TV Guide. (2.3.6)

If I watch a live TV channel from browsing the TVGuide and use Escape to exit live TV it goes back to channel 1 in the TV guide.
I'm fairly sure (but can't be 100% without restoring) that previously it went back to the same channel in the TV guide where it left.
Just checking something else - right-clicking and using STOP does the same.

A little awkward for channel surfing.

I see this too and if channel groups are enabled and you have added xml setting

<LastChannelGroup>All Channels</LastChannelGroup>

it takes you to the first channel in the group.

Not quite. The "cursor" seems to remain on the last channel watched, but the guide displays the first page. Also absent is any description at the bottom. Scrolling with cursor or page up/down will bring the " cursor" back and with it, the description.
I could try to video the effect if required??

It doesn't work well here, I loss the currently selected channel highlighting. The other issue on channel group not be restored when I don't want to save the channel group is also still there.

I cant reproduce this here. Any particular steps? Is anyone else seeing this problem with that most recent patch

It seems to work in the first 8 channels other that I lose the green selection, until I return to the top 8.

<LastChannelGroup>...</LastChannelGroup>

After LiveTV, channel groups return to then correct group otherwise it returns to All Channels. The issue is I don't want that setting in config.xml because for now I always want "All Channels" to start when the app starts. I think a starting channel group is a great idea, unfortunately it is not often the last group in my case because the last use is a different time of day.

Are you sure that you grabbed that second patch? This is what I was getting with the first patch, and was the reason for the second patch.

It's working the way it was designed to. It seemed like the most logical thing to do. For the next release I can try to make it configurable, so the user can either select to remember last channel group, or specify the startup group.
