Failed to lock a signal

Sorry, but can you reproduce it with this patch, then post the nrecord.log again? I've added a couple of lines of logging.

This patch causes the same crashing as the the one provided 1/22, which I described here. As soon as the second tuner is called, recording service crashes, and second tuner never lights up. I get the popup box shown, and windows reboots. I have to put the previous dll back. I did get logs.

FYI, I tried doing some recordings earlier today with WMC :o and had no problems with back to back recording. I did notice that the tuner light would flash off between recordings, which I don't see happen with nPVR.

With that patch in place, does a single recording start and stop correctly? Please post logs showing it.

Hmm, that looks fine. Can you post another log showing an overlap so that it attempts to fire up the second tuner?

Logs attached. When the second tuner is called, recording service seem to hang, device status window goes blank and is non responsive, second tuner light does not come on. Then when first recording ends, second tuner light comes on, and first remains on. When second tuner ends, second light goes off but first stays on, device status window comes back. First recording shows failed with 'recording service was stopped during recording'. There are two .ts files for the first recording (-0) and 1 for the second.

Sorry, I still cant see the problem in the logs. Please try again with this one. It adds more logging in the area where your previous logs stop.

Same scenario as before. The light for tuner 1 never goes off.

I have narrowed it down to a small section of code, but I cant see anything in there that looks like a likely cause, so I've had to add more logging to help me find the exact source of the problem.

Watching the same scenario with task manager, when the second tuner is called nrecord.exe and the recording service crash, then restart, then crash a second time which causes the reboot error shown above.
