I have a problem that all video plays okay at it's correct aspect ratio except DivX files. I guess this is because they are encoded with the black bars at the top and bottom trimmed off them. All other programs play them back okay, but GBPVR stretches them to fill the screen. Is there some way I can stop this happening?

No, there is nothing you can do about it in the current release. Sorry.

i like them being stretched to fill the screen, i have widescreen, so sub if you fix this in the future, remember to allow widescreeners to use this feature

Hi there,

Just installed your app the other day and am impressed that it seems to do a better job (interface-wise at least) than the commercial alternatives I've looked at. This issue of aspect ratio, however, is a bit unfortunate, as I would like to be able to view my existing video content through your interface on my widescreen TV.

In the meantime I'm happy to carry on using WMP for this task, but I'd be interested to know if you are considering changing this at all, as it would really round off for me what looks like a really good product.

Anyway, hope this isn't too cheeky a query, as I know you have your own priorities and it's impressive that you've done all this yourself already.

Cheers,
Will
