Unexpected error parsing EPGEvent xml

Anyone that can give me tips on what to search for ?
I get this NPVR.log
started NPVR
selected recordings
and in log I see "Unexpected error parsing EPGEvent xml" every 2 minutes

That one was fixed with patch #23, and I assume you have that patch installed since you said in another thread you'd installed the skip patch rev 2a.

I suggest you zip and attach your xmltv.xml file so sub can have a look.

It's similar but not the same error. The first is not encoding the genre that is read from the xmltv file, and the second is not encoding the pseudo unique_id that NextPVR is generating.

You're right, I should have typed "similar" instead of "same"; if it was actually the same error he'd have it fixed by installing the latest patch.

Just the same, posting the source xmltv.xml seems the thing to do.

It looks to me like that whole <Event> element is probably from the event_details column of the SCHEDULED_RECORDINGS table. It looks like npvr isn't correctly encoding the <UniqueID> element.

We can see that date is in the past(startTime and endTime), and this is NOT in XMLTVfile
so what to look after ?
