Same page as Graham linked to (and I forgot to link to Smile ).
Quote:Wednesday 7th March 2012
BBC TWO analogue C24 closes. Multiplex BBCA starts on C24. Multiplex 1 C34 closes.

Wednesday 21st March 2012
BBC One analogue C31 closes. ITV-1 analogue C27 closes. Channel 4 analogue C21 closes. Multiplex 2 C32 closes. Multiplex A C30 closes. Multiplex B C28 closes. Multiplex C C37 closes. Multiplex D C33 closes.
Freeview power increases - see comparison of analogue and digital signal levels below.
Multiplex SDN starts on C25. Multiplex ArqA starts on C22. Multiplex ArqB starts on C28. Multiplex D3+4 starts on C27. Multiplex Freeview HD (BBCB) starts on C21.
As for how I know the frequencies? I spent months working on the GB-PVR DVB Radio plugin remember? Some of them are embedded in my brain. Big Grin

Basically just an 8MHz difference between UHF channel numbers with a +167KHz offset for the '+' channels (or -168KHz for a '-' channel).

Quote:What would be the frequency for COM6?
COM6 is now ArqB which is 530000.

I've put those frequencies in to an tuning ini file:
Code:
[TERTYPE]
1=United Kingdom
2=Rowridge (Stage 2b 210312)

[DVB]
0=6
1=1,474167,0,0,8
2=2,482167,0,0,8
3=3,498000,0,0,8
4=4,506000,0,0,8
5=5,522000,0,0,8
6=6,530000,0,0,8

NextPVR only finds channels on 498000 and 522000. Not quite sure what's going wrong...? I've attached a log of the scan - it looks like only 2 of the MUXs are being "locked".

Using Graham's stage 2 file with a supplement scan I get some more channels, on 545834 and 602000.
Code:
[TERTYPE]
1=United Kingdom
2=Rowridge (Stage 2 210312)

[DVB]
0=6
1=1,498000,0,0,8
2=2,522000,0,0,8
3=3,474167,0,0,8
4=4,546000,0,0,8
5=5,602000,0,0,8
6=6,570000,0,0,8

edit:
A Freeview TV on the same aerial found all the channels. And just done a scan with Windows Media Centre on the same box, it's didn't find all the channels just like NextPVR - could it a problem with the tuner cards (got 2xNova-T 9009's)?

Your best bet is going to be to set it to all countries / all regions and it'll run the whole UHF range. Looking at the data on that ukfree.tv site it seems there's conflicting info.

That Stage 2 210312 list of frequencies actually matches the bit where they show each MUX and the channels (with effective power, aerial position etc) which don't match the bit I quoted - weird. But if that's only matching two more MUXes then there's still one frequency which isn't locking (apart from the DVB-T2 one which wont lock anyway).

I looked again at the ukfree page. It has this ...

Quote:Wednesday 21st March 2012
BBC One analogue C31 closes. ITV-1 analogue C27 closes. Channel 4 analogue C21 closes. Multiplex 2 C32 closes. Multiplex A C30 closes. Multiplex B C28 closes. Multiplex C C37 closes. Multiplex D C33 closes.
Freeview power increases - see comparison of analogue and digital signal levels below.
Multiplex SDN starts on C25. Multiplex ArqA starts on C22. Multiplex ArqB starts on C28. Multiplex D3+4 starts on C27. Multiplex Freeview HD (BBCB) starts on C21.
Heigh Ho!

@Graham - Yes, which is exactly what I quoted a few posts back and is how I derived the frequencies I posted.

Unfortunately the page has conflicting information. I just spotted that apparently...
Quote:Rowridge COM multiplexes will remain on their pre-switchover channel allocations (30, 37 & 33) until mid-April 2012
...despite the bit referring to 21/3/2012 that states...
Quote:Multiplex 2 C32 closes. Multiplex A C30 closes. Multiplex B C28 closes. Multiplex C C37 closes. Multiplex D C33 closes.
The million dollar question of course is which combination is actually correct.

Assuming MUXD/COM6 IS still transmitting on its old frequency (570000) then that suggests a reception / tuning problem. There are a number of posts on that page which suggest people are having trouble with some models of TV but not others and also discussion about the fact the aerial polarisation has now switched (which possibly wont help in various cases).

I originally used the info from ofcom when I made the ini files
http://stakeholders.ofcom.org.uk/binarie...ridian.pdf

However they got the first one wrong, so used
http://www.aerialsandtv.com/rowridgetx.html#RowridgeDSO
for 1b which seems to have been correct.

Stage 2 (21/03/12) should be correct according to both ofcom and aerials&TV with the last 3 changing on 18/04/12.

But do they tell the guys that do the changes?
It's not an overly complicated system - it's more - overly simple operatives  Huh

Using all countries/all regions resulted in no extra channels. Now I'm very :confused:

I'm out of my league on DVB stuff but did you try with the exact frequencies shown on the ukfree website

Code:
[TERTYPE]
1=United Kingdom
2=Rowridge (Stage 2 210312)

[DVB]
0=6
1=1,498000,0,0,8
2=2,522000,0,0,8
3=3,474200,0,0,8
4=4,545800,0,0,8
5=5,602200,0,0,8
6=6,570200,0,0,8
