I should be able to dig out something in 4:3 that's small enough to upload. A trailer or opening logo or something...

I've sent you a PM sub with a link to a 5.5MB 4:3 video in DVD format.
It behaves as expected (with the patch) for me. Stays in 4:3 if Auto is in use; stretches to fit if my overscan one is used (and I'd guess Fill too but I've not tried it). Iain

Thanks Iain.
Hoborg, give this one a go. Hopefully it'll do the job.

Good work SUB, this one seems to be working!
BTW, i am using FFDshow with NV12 output for DVDs (Default SAF 6.09 setting) - no problems with image corruption or any green lines, etc...

I'm happy to report that the new patch also continues to work just fine for me too.

Hi.
Let me reopen this thread. Now i notice that some 16/9 DVD's are played as 4/3 until i cycle to Auto AR. Stop and start will again display 16/9 in 4/3. Looks like i am walking in circles...

Can you list some examples? I might have them too and will test.
But the aspect ratio stuff addressed in sub's patch has been perfect for me (win7/evr). Iain
I bet is XP (VMR9 FSA) only.
BTW, i am still waiting for AMD A10 5700 APU to upgrade my HTPC. Part of the updgrade is move from WinXP to Win7.
