I have the following cards installed in my PC Hauppauge S2 , Hauppauge Nova - T1 and a new TBS dual DVB-T2 card.

If I scan with the "A" part of the TBS card it does not detect the UK HD channels but if I scan with the "B" part of the card it does, and I am then able to delete the "A" channels and copy then from the "B" card. I can set say BBC HD and ITV HD which are on different muxes to record simultaneously.

I have tried disabling the Hauppauge T1 card from Windows just in case it was contributing to the problem and retried the scan process without success.

I note from a search of the web that there was a similar type problem with Windows Media Center which was patched.

Perhaps the card is faulty and I should return it to Amazon , or is anybody experiencing this type of issue.

Thanks

If you want to post scan logs from both tuners of your TSB card, I'll see if anything stands out in the logs.

Everything that I have seen shows only one mux carrying HD channels on terrestrial (i.e. Freeview) in the UK.

Correct. There is only one DVB-T2 mux at present.

Try forgetting about the A part of your card for a moment (delete its channels, and don't even connect the aerial to it), and just set up the HD channels on the B part. You should be able to simultaneously record from both BBC HD and ITV HD with just that one tuner. Post the logs if you can't.

Scan of A card and B card attached.

The two tuners on the card work the problem is that the A tuner does not appear to detect the HD channels when I scan but can play them live after copying from the B tuner.

Thanks for your help

The file I was hoping to get for each scan was npvr.log.

I'd also need to the details of a couple of couple of the channels so I know what to focus on in the logs.

Sorry Sub logs attached.

The T2 HD channels that are automatically scanned by the "B" tuner on the card but not detected by the "A" tuner but which appear to work when all the B channels are copied from "B" to "A" are :-

BBC HD Frequency 762000 SID 17472
BBC One HD Frequency 762000 SID 17540
ITV HD Frequency 762000 SID 17605
Channel 4 HD Frequency 762000 SID 17664

Regards

I have rescanned again and to my embarrassment for the first time both tuners have scanned 101 channels including the HD ones, log attached.

Earlier today i tried scanning using Windows media center and no HD channels were found so I am now completely confused !!!!
