Either watch recordings or have Live TV - not both.

I also just tried watching a show as it was recording but with around a 10 minute delay. It cuts off playback when the recording stops (even though there lots of time left in the recording) and won't play from the recordings menu thereafter.

That was a client patch too. Do you have the all installed on both the client and server.

Yep, installed all on both.

I just checked and although the buffer/recordings drive was shared I couldn't access it from the client machine. I added full permissions for "everyone" and I can access everything from the client. I'll be busy for a while this morning but I'll check if things work properly later today.

Streaming recordings and live tv doesn't require access to a share.

Well, that made no difference anyway...

I think I'll reinstall and stop at the live TV patch and see if the recordings still work (as long as we don't watch while it's recording).
