My recurring manual recordings sometimes change their start time to their stop time, meaning it only records the padding time around the stop time.

I record the same show every day for two weeks long from 17:00 until 18:30 and suddenly it starts to record from 18:30 until 18:30.

It also shows 18:30-18:30 in the pending recordings.

I had this twice now.
First time I thought I had done something wrong, now it's no longer coincidence.

Any ideas as to what to look at ? Log Files ?

I'm seeing similiar results. I have a recurring manual recording from 1:00PM - 3:00 PM om Monday - Friday. Under pending recordings, they are listed with a start and end time of 1500. Nothing gets recorded.

On earlier versions, the manual recording resulted in thousands of database entries of failed recordings even though the shows were recorded. Now there are no extraneous database entries, but no recordings either. Currently I'm using version 9211.

If the scheduling of multiple tuners took into account padding, I would have no need for recurring manual recording as recording back to back shows on the same channel.

If one of you can do a bit of leg work and determine how to reproduce the problem, it would be helpful.

If I can get the exact set of steps to reproduce the problem, it'll be an easy fix.

It does take multiple tuners into account. If you have multiple tuners, both will get the recordings in a back-to-back situation will get padding.

I hope that's true now, I'll try again. This was not the case in earlier versions. Here is my original post on this issue.

For this new problem, I have a recurring manual recording set for M-F 1:00PM-3:00PM. Under Pending Recordings, it shows the same start and end time set to 1500, i.e. 3:00PM. Nothing gets recorded. This just started when I upgraded to this version about three weeks or so ago. I installed over the previous version so I would not lose my database. It's possible that a clean install would not have this problem, but without any kind of database import/export, I didn't want to lose my recorded show entries.

This improvement was added at the beginning of march.

Are you able to reproduce this? I've tried unsuccessfully. If not, I'm going to park it in the 'cannot reproduce' bucket.

To get rid of the problem, just remove your existing reoccuring recording, and create a new one.

I have the same problem that was described above. I am using the latest version of the program. It is hard to pinpoint exactly when the start time for the recurring recording changes. It seems to occur several (~5) days into the newly scheduled recurring recording. I have my computer set to go into standby which may or may not have an affect.

I tried cancelling the recording, then rescheduling it. The problem always returns.

If you can give me the exact steps to reproduce it, I'll correct it for the next release.

Same problem here - I can't tell you any steps cause I checked it several days in a row and all the recurring recordings were Ok until yesterday when I noticed that a recording file is way too small.

I think I've found and correct this problem for the next release.
