Probably, but it's possible that they may be on a lower frequency than channel 70.

My area has gotten rid of analog channels completely.

Johnsonx42 and everyone who helped, thank you so much! It seems that the missing channels were in fact on the analog tuner.

Now I must go through the tedious process of watching a channel, figuring out who is what - label it and arrange the channels so that I keep the HD equivalents and have removed the SD duplicates.

I've checked all frequencies on the digital tuner. Spent 2 hours scanning with every option. I did find it and the other missing channels on the analog tuner.

Now if you or anyone knows an easy way to change a channel, watch it to find out what it is, label it and delete it without having to do this

Right Click
Channels
Change Channel
Right Click
Settings
Channels
Label / Remove
Ok
Right Click

Change Channel
Right Click
Settings
Channels
Label / Remove
Ok

Repeat until done.

I have all the channels the analog tuner found but in HD (except for the few missing channels). So for the sake of being organized, I want to bulk remove the SD duplicates and then set a channel name for easy access.

This is the list of channels I have.. at least, it's a portion of the list.

If you'd been using Schedules Direct for your listings, you could have just hit the 'import channels' button, and selected your lineup, and all the channels would have been automatically created with the correct channel names.

If you'd had an xmltv file with your analog channels, then you could have imported from that aswell.

as you're using software encoding for your analog channels (at least I assume that tuner doesn't have an MPEG encoder), you'll probably want to increase the recording quality. open your config.xml and look for the <Analog> section.

These are my settings, which make my analog channels nearly indistinguishable from my digital channels on my SD big screen TV:

Code:
<Analog>
    <Bitrate>6000000</Bitrate>
    <BitratePeak>9000000</BitratePeak>
    <BitrateMode>VBR</BitrateMode>
    <FieldOrder>top</FieldOrder>
  </Analog>

(except you can probably leave the FieldOrder at Default, as I think Default is now Top for 2.5.5)

The picture is cleaner, but the I have noticed a small.. static noise when people are talking. It's not a BZZT noise, more like a Ksssshhhhhhhhhht noise that plays constantly. It doesn't do this on the digital channels, so it might be an issue with the analog tuner.
