I have an ATI 9250 and a Nova-T PCI (90002)

I have the following problems:

1) The config program does not display correctly. IE The buttons have no text on them and half of the labels for tick boxes have no text.
2) The LiveTV just displays a black screen. I can escape out of it and navigate, but no Live TV

First time I've heard that one. Try uninstalling, deleting the c:\program files\devnz directory, then reinstalling.

Did you have an MPEG2 decoder installed? Did you do the 'Map digital channels to EPG channels' step in the config app? If so, did the channel show up fine there?

I can live with the screwed config problem.

I do not believe the "Map channels" worked properly either. There was a black screen there.

What am i missing?

I do not get any error messages

Its probably a sign of something more serious (broken installation etc).

Maybe an MPEG2 decoder?

I've no idea. Obviously ShowShifter has broken something. Did you follow my suggestion above to uninstalling, delete the c:\program files\devnz directory, then reinstall?

The Intervideo one comes with WinDVD. The Cyberlink comes with PowerDVD.

With regards to the mising text, as part of my own troubleshooting, i uninstalled GBPVR and deleted the folder, but the missing text labels still occurred after reinstallation of GBPVR. Would re-installing DirectX fix this????

With regards to the MPEG decoder, do i just need to install the trial of WinDVD??? I already have PowerVCR so i can eventually pause live tv.

I've no idea. I cant think what would cause this.

Is there any errors listed in config.exe.log?
