video recordings and sound gets out of sync

I am using comskip.
I have made some recordings of tv shows sometimes i can play the show straight through with no issue. Then sometimes when i go back to watch the show again the recording will start out correct but then slowly video and sound will get noticeably out of sync. If i stop watching and go back using the resume feature everything is back to normal. What is going on here?

Audio/video sync issues are almost always related to audio or video decoders you using, or sometimes the audio renderer. There is no settings other than these in NextPVR that would make difference to this type of thing.
