Live TV/recording behavior

Is there a way to configure GB-PVR to switch from Live TV to watching a scheduled recording? It currently exits from Live TV to the main menu when a scheduling recording starts.

Its already been posted in the wish list several times in the past.

I will do it at some stage, but I've got other more pressing issues that need to be resolved first.
