Terratec H7 dvb-c will not work in nextpvr

I added my second tuner to nextpvr now, and I have problems.

it's the Terratec H7 dvb-c/t tuner. And it's confirmed working

When I try to scan using dvb-c I get following error popup:

"Unable to start device: Device failed to start"

If I try to scan dvb-t it works, but not dvb-c. Did a quick search on forum, only found some gbpvr post about bda.ini - so I hope there is a simple fix.

Any hints are very welcome !

looking at the log, it seems autodetect picks the wrong capture device, it try to use dvb-t when it needs dvb-c

You'll probably need to run filtercheck.exe, and post the filtercheck.log it creates.

I've tried 3 different drivers, all same result, looking at filtercheck I see the dvb-c tuner connects at "antenna in" pin rather than "input0", don't know if this is correct.

just like to add, when I said it's confirmed working, I've tested it with dvbviewer and it works, so nothing wrong with device.

I found the filters in graphedit if that helps, it also lists "antenna in pin" rather than "input0". I have no idea how this stuff works, just though it might help.

The problem will be caused by the Terratec drivers incorrectly using the same 'PIN medium' on both their DVB-T and DVB-C components. They're supposed to use a unique one for each. Applications use this information to determine which parts go together.

Try the attached patch. It hard codes a work around for this device.

Can you also post the actual filtercheck.log, rather than the text, so I can check if there any trailing spaces on the name etc.
