(accessible via a popup menu similiar to my videos)..
Yeah, that sounds about right. I guess it should be a "universal" function. accessable from the "my pictures" menu. Ability to copy from any entry in the virtual root (CD, Mem Card) to a pre selected "dump" folder. Like My Pictures. I woudn't think you need it to copy FROM an HD. Were you thinking it would automaticly ask to copy when you access any memory card?
So guess I would also ask for a new "drive type" for memory card's. Right now we have ,DIR, HHD, or DVD right? I assume this was already on the list.
It might be nice to have a progress meeter, for the copy progress. Either the current pic or the whole process, or at least the word "copying" on the screen. Just an indicated to let us know the the system didn't freeze.
I'm going to be copying from my LRPC (Living Room PC) to another drive on my network. I'm not sure if that's a consideration. (Generally I just add my network paths in the config.XML).

I would love to test when your ready. I have pic's from 3 cameras, 1.4mp, 3.1mp, and 6.1mp.
Thanks for even considering adding this. I use WIN2K for my GBPVR so I dont have the nice WindowsXP Photo Video wizard. This function would give me on less reason to go down to the basement(where my Photo/Video computer is located)
