problems getting tv-guide

I installed 1.2.1 now, and seem to work fine, there are some issues though.

When you first install it, the only input device that works is mouse, I believe it's a focus problem, neither keyboard nor remote work. Once you clicked on menu you can use keyboard and remote.

I tried EPG and loads fine now, tried one channel, also working fine, pause worked, but now seeking (rw/ff)

Then I tried to change channel but xbmc crashed, will try to test more and check log another day, too late now.

Odd because of the five machines I test on, only 1 even has has a mouse attached but nothing has focus on the dashboard until you navigate.

Seeking in live tv doesn't work, only in progress recordings via a share.

There's no key for a channel change, really it is just a stop followed by play. I'll wait for the logs.

Ok I was able to duplicate this tonight in some scenarios and now force the focus on the Settings option after a bad connect.

I installed 1.2.1 on my Openelec beta8 ion 32bit client yesterday and worked fine, didn't do a lot testing, but everything seems to work. Did not have the focus problem either.

I would suggest though to add a check on the epg grab, ex only grab it once a day, not every time you go into epg.

It wasn't fixed in 1.2.1 it is something that doesn't always happen

It's not every time you go to the guide. It is cached and it should be only on your interval you use in Setting, I use 1/2 an hour. I am trying to reduce this further for smaller boxes and improve how it reads the cache for bigger boxes so you can cache longer. For know You can also use the channel groups to reduce the number of channels loaded which improves the time.
