Auto skipping commercials / playback recordings

I'v noticed that when playing back recordings XBMC does not skip commercials by itself even thou the .edl file exists. Is it not supported, is it the addon or XBMC that does not support it or is there a setting in XBMS I have to turn?

It's possible just not via http. Check this thread http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...ip-in-XBMC where this is more info.
