I am using the Forum Advanced Search to find all of my posting. I did one search and then added a new posting. After making the posting I checked in the topic and saw the posting there. However when I re-performed the the Advanced Search for my postings, the latest posting did not appear. At the top of the results was the information Search took 0.03 seconds; Generated 45 minutes ago.

Are these searches remembered ? This appears to be the case. How do I force a new search ?

Thank you in advance.

If you left click on your name at the top left of any of your posts, do you get the list that you want?

I dunno nuffink about the search issue.

IMHO Graham knows more about the search issue than is letting on Wink

There are historical issues with the vbulletin software and searches within it. sub has the whole set up for the forum based on the vbulletin software. It has strengths. It has weaknesses.

It may not be ideal. But what is ideal? Particularly when sub is handing this brilliant software for free? (Well of course donations always welcome!)

But we have been down this road before. Dead ends were met. I understand why sub would not want to change the forum software. It would be a massive headache. To be honest probably not really at the time that we were looking to enhance the NextPVR online presence but sub did resist changes so we have what we have now.

The chance to meet this headache passed some moons ago. sub resisted. So it did not happen.

I cannot see how this could happen now. vbulletin sucks for searches. Google actually picks up searches pretty well if you add nextpvr & question to your search .

Once again, not perfect, but pretty good! Considering.....

cheers
