No Live TV and No EPG update from DVB

Hello! I am new to NVPR and am trying to set it up and can't figure out what is wrong. I am getting a black screen during LiveTV. I am running a Windows 8 Pro machine with WMC installed. It is running a NVidia GTX 460 vcard and a Homerun HD Prime. Channels are showing in NVPR but no EPG data is showing up either. Here is the zip of the logs.

From the log it seems that you need to install the SoftPVR package. I don't know if the Homerun is able to grab epg from the live stream, but I'd guess not, so you might need to grab the epg from some other source, like Schedules Direct or XMLTV.

I have installed SoftPVR using the 2nd method shown in the Wiki. BTW the .bat file given in the wiki is outdated and is still using a different(older?) filename than the file that is requested to download to the /SoftPVR folder. As such the bat file references wintv7_2.2d.exe or something instead of the wintv_2.6c.exe that the wiki is telling to download. Also I believe that mirror doesn't work or is down. I was able to get the file from another source and also edit the .bat file to make it run. What is my next step now that SoftPVR is installed and also, why would I need to install Hauppauge software while I am running a HRHD Prime? I have tried running it again and have included the new log files.

The reply in this thread http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...-one-works Is probably your problem. The SoftPVR Software is needed if you receive analogue broadcasts or composite input from a set top box,
AFAIK You will need either Schedules direct or an xmltv grabber for the epg in North America.

Did you allow the programs mentioned in the thread referred by Lao Pan through the firewall? I see you are using Microsoft DTV/DVD decoder, I'v heard rumors that it does not work for any 3rd part applications in W8. Also there are messages in the log complaining about not able to find AC3 decoder. Did you install it? If so, remember to install the 32-bit version since npvr is a 32-bit app.
