GeForce GT 610 - Good HTPC card?

I'm thinking about moving our NPVR server and attaching it to one of our TV's via HDMI so we can actually view HD content. (Right now we watch everything in SD, via Media MVP's) Newegg has a deal on this card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814500276 for $10 after rebate. Does this card have what it takes to playback recorded TV and other video without problems, or should I be looking for something else?

A 610 should cope splendidly.

Thanks Graham. Wow, I really like that massive fanless heatsink on your card! The 610 that I linked to has gone out of stock. I"ll have to keep an eye on it and see if it gets restocked. Otherwise I suppose I'll go back to watching for a deal on an HD 6450.

I recently found this ... also fanless ... I dunno if it is available there (nor the cost). But, I can't think of a good reason to buy it ... but when did I ever need a good reason ...

Now THAT is a heat sink! Is KFA2 the manufacturer? I've never heard of them on this side of the pond.
