Two HDHR's, only one set showing in status screen

Hi,

I've got two HDHR devices (one older, one newer, both NOT the "prime" model), but only one of them shows up in the NPVR status screen. Both show in the HDHR config app and I can use any of the 4 to tune channels.[ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND]

When I run through the device setup, I'm able to scan for & map channels on the 101175DC-0 and -1 devices, but it doesn't want to seem to utilize those tuners at all. I tested it out by removing one of the channels from the mappings for the other HDHR tuners. (Originally I had noticed it because I had two concurrent recordings going, and was unable to watch live TV)

Next experiment - if I unplug one HDHR, it seems to be able to utilize channels that they were both configured to, but not the channel that only the DC-0 and DC-1 tuners were configured for.

I just dealt with an issue for someone else where only one tuner was found in NextPVR and it turned out to be invalid registry entries.

Edit:

I could barely see the screenshots but it looks like you have one of the devices disabled in NextPVR's settings. They show as present but disabled so I don't think it's the registry issue.

The devices that have channels configured are all enabled. Others are disabled. Not sure why those screenshots are showing up so small...

Disable dynamic tuner allocation in the HDHomeRun Setup (Advanced tab).

Nothing else should need to be restarted.

Explanation of what's happening:

When an application (NextPVR in this case) uses the BDA drivers, it requests that a specific tuner (101175DC-0 for example) tune to the channel because it's using a specific BDA entry with that tuner in the driver name. Dynamic Tuner Allocation ignores the specific tuner request and uses the first available tuner. I've seen Dynamic Tuner Allocation cause issues though so IMO, it's best to let NextPVR handle tuner allocation instead of the HDHomeRun software.
