I don't see a timeshifting option in XBMC.

As rdargus wrote it could easily be firewall related. The best way to tell is for you to you turn on XBMC debugging and then compress and upload you xbmc.log and NextPVR logs as a post here.

There be my logs. Search xbmc.log for 'Tuner no longer available'

Well you do have timeshifting enabled after all. In XBMC go to System->Settings->Add-ons->Enabled Add-ons->PVR Clients->NextPVR PVR Client->Configure->Advanced to turn it off.

Ahh, that's where the option is buried! I forgot about configuring the add-on itself. Live tv now works, but I get no audio.

Hi Guys....so does this mean that Time Shifting has been broken in the latest Frodo Beta builds? Or can I re-enabled it by adding in some new DLL I may have missed?

Thanks...

It's not really a beta XBMC question, but standby to get confused. It was broken in wilecoyote's unofficial distribution starting Nov 20th, and the bug continued until yesterday when sub submitted the fix. Most of the XBMC distributions now include the PVR addon but sub's change didn't make RC1 (Release Candidate) but it is going to be showing up in the nightlies. If you install the addon with XBMC and you check the version and it says 1.6.1.0 time shifting is probably broken. If it says 1.6.1 then it works (nicely)

Thanks Martin....always a fountain of knowledge...will upgrade from Frodo Beta 3 to a nightly and hope that Sub's fix has made it....

oh...unfortunately I'll have to wait another 12-24 hours to get a nightly that includes the Sub 1.6.1 update I guess....

XBMC nightlies don't necessarily include the latest pvr build. For Windows it is a couple of days old and so you have to watch this file https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/blob/master...addons.bat for a change.
