XBMC 12.0 beta 1 installed, I get "NextPVR connection lost" message

I just downloaded the latest nightly, which says it is just RC1, and yay it does contain 1.6.1 and time shifting is working....fantastic stuff...

Is that the Windows nightly or Dec 12 RC1?

I'm on Dec 12 RC1, still showing 1.6.1.0 here. At the rate they are going, we'll probably see RC2 before the weekend anyhow.

The official RC1 and the nightly RC1 are different, that's why 1.6.1 is important

yep...not the Official RC1 but the Nightly from the same date as the RC1 however it now includes 1.6.1 and time shifting is working...still says that it's RC1 though....everything seems to be working well in it...

Does anyone know of Skin's that work with both PleXBMC and the PVR features? It seems all the skins I try either work with PleXBMC or with the PVR function...never both...

Issue still happening for me with the XBMC nightly from 12/15 with the updated NextPVR plugin (1.6.1.0).

It is working well for me with the version of the plugin that is installed with the Windows Nightly of XBMC for the last couple of days. It does however changing channels is back to about 10 seconds. With the last build before sub left Timeshifting didn't work, but the channel changes wer 4 seconds or less every time.

On Windows XP

I now have Frodo XBMC 12.0-RC1 from Dec 15th

It shows NextPVR Add-On as 1.6.1

I have not, yet to date, with any builds of Frodo XBMC or NextPVR add-on, had either had a successful channel change or pause with LiveTV?

Channel change just goes into a buffer percentage that never grows

Pause button shows within LiveTV but is not a selectable option on hover over with mouse

Have I got the latest and correct versions of everything?

Should logs go here, on another thread or over @ xbmc?

You need to enable timeshifting in advanced configuration of the NextPVR addon for pause to work. You'll need a new NShared too.

thanks as usual. Timeshifting is/was enabled already.

Is the NShared.dll I need from johnsonx42's getting started thread or somewhere else? This could be the problem, the one I have is dated Oct 13th?!
