DVB-T scan doesn't find / set the correct LCN for channels

I think I saw a post about this a while back but can't find it.

I just did a scan and I have channels assigned with channel number in the order that they're found instead of using the LCN from the stream.

Example: BBC THREE is the third to be found and is assigned Channel #3 instead of its actual LCN #7. The LCN is definitely in the stream as TSReader shows it as LCN 7.

I'm running NextPVR v2.5.9 without any of the patches but I can't see anything in johnsonx42's patch thread which mentions this.

I can't see anything in the logs which mentions channel number during the scan but maybe I'm looking at the wrong log file.

Yeah, that's odd - the LCNs aren't listed there.

I still get LCNs here on our DVB-T system. Did you used to get LCNs?

Yes all of the channels for my Crystal Palace setup got their correct LCNs although the last time I scanned was maybe a year ago or so.

I had to delete all the channels when we moved to Yorkshire a couple of months ago and I haven't had the correct numbers since then. At first I thought it might be because of the set-top aerial I'm using which is why I tried TSReader last night but it's correctly showing all of them.

sub - don't waste any time on this. I've done more experiments with both npvr scans and TSReader and it does seem possible it's the fault of the indoor aerial. Although TSReader does show the LCNs, they sometimes don't appear for 10-15 seconds so it's possible the npvr scan simply isn't getting the relevant SI tables(s) in it's normal scan period.

Hoping to get the roof aerial connected to my npvr rig some time next week so I'll see what happens then.
