I've changed the recordings directory to C:\Users\Public\Videos and I'm in the process of testing.

One thing I did notice is that when I previously had the recordings directory set as D:\recordings, the NPVR config.xml file stored it as 'D:\Recordings\' (trailing "\") whereas with the directory set as C:\Users\Public\Videos it is stored as 'C:\Users\Public\Videos' (no trailing "\"). Would this cause a problem?

I'll report back momentarily with the results of my testing.

Regards.

No, it shouldn't be related to this. I'm pretty religious about handling trailing/non-trailing slashes correctly.

I'm resizing partitions and doing other disc changes to see if the problem lies there. I will report back with the results of my testing shortly.

In the meantime thanks for your patience.

OK.

I deleted, reformatted and re-constructed the D:\ drive where the recordings folder and Live TV buffer were located and so far everything seems to be working fine! Perhaps there was something wrong with the structure of that drive.

I'll test throughout the day for confirmation. Fingers crossed Smile

After a day of testing, it appears everything is working OK. Maybe something was wonky with my drive or partition.

Once again thanks to Martin and Sub for their patience and help.

Regards.
