I see where instructions that claim setup for npvr is just a matter of loading add on and enabling. I've got a couple channels working on NPVR live TV & I've got the channel list in xbmc. However when I select a channel in xbmc I see working, buffering & playing messages then nothing. I assume some sort of window should open with live TV at this point? I attached my log.

Did you make sure that you have installed all the NextPVR patches? Also for troubleshooting you need to upload the NextPVR logs too.

It's really hard to tell what's what when it comes to versions and patches. Is there not some way to consolidate all this with the downloads? Really scattered. From what I can tell everything should be current now. I did update the Nshared.dll and am now at least getting audio but still no video. Attached both logs. I take it the web server is supposed to be enabled in NPVR settings? None of the xbmc documentation says anything explicit about this but it doesn't seem to get a connection otherwise.
Also I see references to scanning for channels but I see no such option for my infinitv device?? Thx, Tim

You are getting the same read error with your live tv files that many SageDCT/Network Recorder users are getting.

Sorry I didn't realize this was in the XBMC forum (you likely don't have live tv in NextPVR either though) I don't expect XBMC can play these files any better than NextPVR can, my experience is that XBMC is just an average mpeg-ts player.
