The attached is from my prod server....nothing has changed for a while but for some reason I am not getting 0 length recordings again....

I see the below in the logs for a show yesterday and one tonight as well...

Unexpected error on ATSC put_TunerRequest: 0x8000FFFF

Edit: After stopping the service to capture the logs in the zip and restarting the recording of Castle for tonight started without issue......

WinRAR is showing that zip file as empty for some reason.

crap.... figures I already cleaned things up. After I restarted the service the recording started but if you look at this attached I now get a socks error.... when I see this only way to get rid of it is to do a restart.... not sure why this is cropping up. Windows patch maybe?

With the service stopped.... I am seeing 7969 as an open port....listening...

It looks like something is managing to hold onto the socket. Not sure why that would be though - Windows is supposed to clean this stuff up when a process exits. Maybe firewall software is holding on to it?

Perhaps......I disabled the network shield in Avast to see if that may be it. I had to disable that shield in W8 as it trashed throughput. We'll see what happens with tonights runs.....

Still no go.... logs attached. I even tried removing and re-adding the digitalhost to the firewall...

The socket thing is sporadic and I don't think it is related....

Here is a shot from tcpview when the recording is to be running.....I am sure there should be some data on the line for the digitalhost but their isn't.

EDIT: I can tune to the channel without issue when in NPVR on the server.

Could this have anything to do with it? I noticed that in devices there are what appear to be new HDHR devices that were enabled.. IPTV up to the top were all enabled.....not sure if this could cause this type of thing or not.

No, it's not going to matter that those extras are listed there. It's only going to use devices with channels setup.

Any thoughts? Is there anything I can turn on to get more info in regards to what may be happening here?
