just tested on win7/64 and it is same...
oh and it doesn't happen on in-progress recordings, only livetv timshift.. and skip while paused starts playing after first skip, so OP still an issue... are the patches being incorporated into the program download as they come out? my files in the R1 patches seem same as fresh download versions..[date/version/size]

i'd be happy to test any additional logging you could put in per previous post..
i did notice you have to wait until at least 30 secs into timeshift file before pausing for at least 30 secs will show skip.. something weird is happening about a second after unpausing that's stuffing up things..any code firing off round about then? video starts at correct place after unpause, then skips to way ahead.. did you see evidence of skip forward in logs? or you see the skip just can't see any cause? i think it'll need extra logging to get it worked out...it's been this way over several releases since just after you did a lot of work on the skipping..

Can you see if this patch helps with your issue of skipping while paused: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post451725

nope...ATSC and HDPVR still resumes play upon skip while paused like OP, and skip forward still happens after unpause as well..
but i noticed the analog sd capture card works perfectly on all counts! [ati 600 thru svideo, soft encode] will try to plug my hdpvr into the machine that worked with sd analog, tho i doubt any difference.. wish i could do something to squash this bug, feels like it'll never get flushed out..

updated for new version, 2.62 works perfectly, but only as a client...
local machine still has pause issue where it skips ahead one second after unpause, to 'live' in timeline, even tho it doesn't know it has..[osd not updated] but client works great, pause,skip,everything... switched machine that was client to server and tried locally on machine that worked as client, and problem still exists.. tried on machine that served up working client, but problem was there locally.. so not sure why it's doing it.. will do more tests but so far it's easily reproducible, client is very stable, but local frontend still has problems.. appreciate all the work you've done on client...and xbmc too..

certainly nothing like what pBS is describing happens here. I just tested it and it resumes exactly where it paused.

curious, do you have hpet turned on in bios? [high performance event timer]
must be some sort of weird bug i have, not exactly related to skipping while pausing, as that works fine now.. i think since the client's mode of transport is different, so it doesn't run into same bug..probably a windows thing.. and xbmc works fine on same machines.. [also using client mode access] and now that i have it working on client at least i can play with it more and see what else i can find out about my bug.. about to switch roles of client/server to see if any luck..
