XBMC Rrodo RC3 some channels buffering 0%

Here is my setup:

Server:
Windows 7 Pro SP1
2x Ceton InfiniTV 4 USB
6GB
Dual Core Pentium Xeon 2.13Ghz
Running SageDCT connected to NetworkRecorder

PVR clients:
Atom 1.6 Dual Core ION 1st gen
4GB
XBMC Frodo RC3 (XBMCBbuntu)
latest PVR Addin from repository

On the server all channels are working. On my two XBMC zotac ion boxes some channels work and other just sit at buffering 0%.

I have aplied R2 patch and also a patch found here which I found searching and thought it may be related

The logs should reflect that I tuned to SCIHD (does not work) once it became responsive again then tuned away to IDHD (a channel that works fine).

An additional note: Recordings from these certain channels playback fine on server, do not play on xbmc. i have Fios so all channels are copy free.

Yikes, an eight tuner Ceton system, you probably don't worry too much about missed shows! Did you try recordings with XBMC? If they don't play it is a problem with XBMC playing valid files. To fix this I see option

1 - configure SageDCT to use VLC muxing
2 - if that doesn't work take a recording that doesn't work and process it with ffmpeg as follows:

ffmpeg -i badfile.ts -acodec copy -vcodec copy xbmctest.ts

and then see if the xbmctest.ts plays in xbmc. If it does I can add that extra muxing to NetworkRecorder

Using VLC did nothing. In XBMC it keeps "working" and it just spins. On the server it just says please wait. After about 2 minutes I just stop the service. I tried with just the R2 patch instead of that patch I put on after it. Same thing. Once I turned the VLC option off it went back to not playing the same channels.

Used ffpmeg to convert the recording and it worked perfectly. I have attached the ffmpeg output just in case.

I was afraid I'd have to make changes. You really should follow up with XBMC since it should be able to read these files, they keep saying they will look at improving ts reading since it is quite inferior to other programs like MythTV that integrate it.

I will continue this discussion here http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...-2-seconds as it will be a NetworkRecorder change.
