Whats the attraction to xbmc over nextpvr?

For me, I am interested in XBMC as the front-end and NPVR as the back-end because the high SAF of XBMC. XBMC is attractive. It stores more than movies and TV shows.

That being said, I haven't spent much (any!) time in NPVR's GUI other than to right-click and select Settings. I owe it to NPVR to explore it a bit, I guess. Maybe it will do all I require and I won't need/want XBMC after all!

But Martin, it's really cheap, who cares if it doesn't work right and you have to buy your own power supply, box and remote control and learn how to use linux??
