New to NPVR, so please bear with me. I'm running a installation of NPVR on a windows 7 machine with a PCIe Ceton Infinitv 4. Every time I try to tune to a station in NPVR, no matter what station, the video blocks/freezes up after about 1 second. Audio plays until the video freezes, then buzzes momentarily, followed by no audio whatsoever. Logs are attached. Thoughts on what is happening here? I've tried several different rendering and decoder options/combinations, and they all have had essentially the same result...

Have you installed the post r2 updates? Also this message

2013-03-07 20:31:16.308 [DEBUG][1] EC_STILL_GOT_VIDEO (2)

could indicate encrypted video if it isn't try this in config.xml

<AlternateOSDForMissingVideo>false</AlternateOSDForMissingVideo>

Finally are you using SageDCT 2.7.x?

I've installed the post r2 updates. I can try them again if you think it would be helpful. Tried two channels that I confirmed are not encrypted. the <AlternateOSDForMissingVideo>false</AlternateOSDForMissingVideo> is already present under <Renderers>, do I need to put it someplace else? Pretty sure I am running the latest version of SageDCT, but where can I confirm version? I can't seem to locate anywhere it lists the version in the config utility.

Thanks for the quick reply and assistance! :-)

No don't reinstall the logs look ok but I wanted to confirm. You might try bumping the delay to 4000 or so and restarting, but that ec message concerns me. If you create a short recording does it play? If not, does running it through this utility fix it http://babgvant.com/blogs/andyvt/archive...egmux.aspx If that works 2.7.1 has that built in http://babgvant.com/files/default.aspx?Sort=PostDate but it is for early adoptors right now.

Created a short recording (10 min) and it plays fine... Any other suggestions?

If recordings work and the delay doesn't help, I can't explain what NextPVR is doing. Maybe the new SageDCT will help.

Just noticed the comment about the delay. Bumped it up to 4000 and it seems to be working now! Thanks for the help, Martin!! You Rock!!! Big Grin
