Downloaded 2.6.2 open NPVR and have a black screen right click and go to settings go to device and it sees my HDHomerun primes 3 tuners Scans locates channels.

I get a block box. Right click and select live tv and get nothing

Go to channels and the channels box pops up click on a channel and get not responding message and box goes away

Go to Open File and select a video and it plays.



Please advise


Trying to get this to work with XBMC frodo 12.0 win7

XBMC picks up the HDHR prime in UPNP and I can watch live TV under the video section
When I try use Live TV and click a channel I get a NextPVR PVR Client tuner not available.

Something looks odd about those channels. I'd try deleting the npvr.db3, then start the app and scan again. If it's still not working, then it's probably the normal thing HDHR Prime users encounter - firewall needs to be opened for nrecord.exe.

Deleted npvr.db3 and scanned channels again. Doesn't seem like it's scanning just popping up a list of channels. This time I just left all the channels in the list.

Created an in and outbound rule for NRecord.

same problems.

OK you're right. I turned off windows firewall and LiveTV tunes in channels. I guess i don't know how to set the firewall. Please advise.

It is typically recommended to allow all three of the NextPVR processes through the firewall ... nextpvr.exe & nrecord.exe & ndigitalhost.exe ...

Go to Control Panel - Security - Allow a program through Windows Firewall - Add Program - browse to the 3 Graham said under Program Files/NPVR and add each in turn.
