Missing one channel in NPVR using HDHomeRun Dual

You can try this and let me know. you still need to add the epg source to the channel. Using the OTA guide data is not going to be great.

So I copied over the db3 file, the channel is there but no picture or sound. Doesn't seem to tune in at all.

I've attached the log.

Do the other channels work? Did you restart the recording service? I know that you have different tsid then I do but it seems to tune to the 1080i signal.

Awesome, it works now! Forgot to restart the service!

So now, in order to have TV guide, how should I proceed?

I've tried Update EPG button but it didn't work. I suspect because of the channel all named as Unknown.

The current source is set to DVB/ATSC EPG.

Great glad you got it working. I glad you didn't get Global too, because I've always wondered if the HDHR might do a better job. Later this year it will move to a higher channel so life should be better.

Sub although the OP's problem is handled is there anything you can thing else you can suggest to get it to add this channel, it finds it one-off just not when there are two with the same name.

Any chance you can set HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\NPVR\LogTSFlow=1, then do the scan, then post the npvr.log and c:\temp\mon.txt?

Yes unfortunately Channel 34 with the duplicate name wasn't scanning well today so 40 was coming in. I finally was able to get the scan with both

Sorry, but as mentioned above, I need the matching npvr.log too.
