Had NextPvr and BeyondTV running side by side for several months. No problem. The NPVR server was working with a Silicon Dust three tuner HomeRun Prime which recorded all my encrypted channels.
The BeyondTV server was using a Silicon Dust two turner HDHomerun which was recording several Clear QAM major network channels.
This set up worked fine .. Recently I turned off the BTV server and set up the NPVR server to access both the 3-tuner HomeRun Prime (cable card) and the 2-tuner HDhomerun tuner.
Now I am getting the dreaded "No errors, but no data delivered. This is usually because the device failed to lock a signal." on a regular basis.
Checking my devices in NPVR shows I have 5 tuners but they are all attached to the HDHomerun Prime which only has 3 physical tuners.
The 5 listed turners show active and are sharing the same models for 2 of them.
And I have several other tuners that show up as enabled but doing a channel scan on any of them shows no channels.?? I've seen articles recently about the FCC now allowing Cable Providers to encrypt the formerly clear-QAM channels and I'm wondering if maybe that's why I can't tune any of the tuners other than the cable card one? I'm also confused about all the tuners showing .. I only have a total of 5 tuners, 3 are from the HomeRun Prime cable card and two are from the HDhomerun. I see the HomeRun Prime tuners showing up multiple times which is weird.
Bottom line is that I'm not getting any conflict notices .. BUT if I schedule more than 3 tuners I get the aforementioned "No errors, but no data delivered" Recently I got a warning message from my BeyondTV service showing a ton of new channels were added and some others moved. Normally BTV handles all that automatically. But since that message I no longer can use BTV to watch the clear QAM channels.
I'm hoping that the problem is some kind of error with the HDhomerun tuner set up. But I'm not having any success getting them to work. Here's what my NPVR device setup looks like: [ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND]
