I have set my system to reboot daily after the EPG update. For the last 5 days, the recording service fails to start after the reboot. Manually starting the service works ok, I usually "Stop recording service" then "Start recording service"
I was reading this thread which seems to be similar, I have not changed any hardware and the only software changes I made were after this issue arose. Maybe there is an issue with the npvr.db3 file?
The event log shows that the service failed to start, - the output is in the zip file.
I also ran NRecord.exe RUN - the output is also in the zip file
The log files were captured earlier today, is it possible running NRecord.exe RUN has caused 2 instances of the recording service to run simultaneously? I ran it without running "Stop recording service" first. This evening I'm seeing double recordings of several programmes.
Thanks & cheers
