Error: Tuner required for recording when viewing live t

I just replaced my HDHR (last one had a defective tuner in it) and now that I've got it all set up again NPVR will not allow TV to play.

I originally had 18 tuners (9 each for the new unit and the old one) I finally figured out how to deleted the old stuff.
I have scanned for channels on all the new available tuners, with found results.
When I select either Live TV or a channel off of the EPG, a tuner light will turn on for about 5 seconds, then go out.

The screen shows "Please wait..." for about 30 seconds, then gives the error "The tuner you were using was required for a recording. Would you like to switch to watching a recording or exit back to the main menu?" with the only option being exit back to menu.

There are no recordings scheduled. There are no recorded programs on the system for the program to view.

I've removed/reinstall the program, with no change to the error.

Anyone have a suggestion on how I can fix this?

Can you reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the npvr.log and nrecord.log?

The C:\program files\npvr\ dir contians only one log, PRDMOWrapper.log
Where are the logs being generated to?

As mentioned in the sticky thread, they're in c:\users\public\npvr\logs.

Is 10.0.0.3 the ip address of your machine? If not, can you post the output of "ipconfig /all"?

Yes.. that's the ip of the machine with npvr installed.

Is that the only ip address? If there is multiple ip address, it can become confused.

Actually looking closer at your logs, it doesn't look like it's related to ip addresses.

It looks like something odd about the directshow setup on you machine causes a very long 2+ minute delay building the graph, which causes the lease on the device to expire, and the recording service frees the device up.

I'm not really sure what'd be wrong with directshow on your machine to cause this though, or how to fix it.
