Not happy with the download\install with K-Lite. Never used it before. On another note, have used the SAF621 codec pack with same results.

From other thread

"sub

It looks like something odd about the directshow setup on you machine causes a very long 2+ minute delay building the graph, which causes the lease on the device to expire, and the recording service frees the device up.

I'm not really sure what'd be wrong with directshow on your machine to cause this though, or how to fix it."

I have a feeling that this could be causing the problems. Have tried different codecs, configs, with same results.

Sometimes it takes up to 2 mins for playback recorded video to start using NPVR, so I use VLC.

It's taking a long time between setting the display rectangle on the render and starting the graph (32 secs):
Code:
2013-07-13 10:19:36.031    [DEBUG][1]    Setting display rect: 0.000000,0.049884,1.000000,0.950116
2013-07-13 10:19:58.252    [DEBUG][1]    Playback graph running...
2013-07-13 10:19:58.253    [DEBUG][1]    Graph filter list:
2013-07-13 10:19:58.253    [DEBUG][1]     - EVR Renderer
2013-07-13 10:19:58.253    [DEBUG][1]     - NPVR PES Collector (Teletext)
2013-07-13 10:19:58.253    [DEBUG][1]     - NPVR PES Collector (DVBSubs)
2013-07-13 10:19:58.253    [DEBUG][1]     - MPEG1 Audio Renderer
2013-07-13 10:19:58.253    [DEBUG][1]     - Ulead MPEG Video Decoder
2013-07-13 10:19:58.253    [DEBUG][1]     - Microsoft DTV-DVD Audio Decoder
2013-07-13 10:19:58.253    [DEBUG][1]     - MPEG-2 Demultiplexer
2013-07-13 10:19:58.253    [DEBUG][1]     - NPVR TS Reader2

If you are familiar with GraphEdit/GraphStudio, you can try recreating the graph manually by adding and connecting the above filters (you can skip the PES filters) and see if it hangs when you press play. (Use one of your recordings as the source file, preferably one that takes 2 minutes to start).

I'm sorry, a bit above my head. I know my limitations. I can live with the playback delay, as I use VLC for playback. It's the Live Tv, that it somehow times out and drops the tuner connection, before there's video and get the error message.
Thanks
