cant view a channel because it cant get guide data

Yea us atsc. I can't seem to get it working. I'm still messing with it but now it won't even load the guide anymore. Arggg infuriating. Well I'll keep trying and I'd it doesn't work I'll buy a converter box and just use that. I even bought a new TV tuner card so I have multiple now that don't seem to be the problem.

OK, can you explain at what stage you are?

Do you get guide data at the NextPVR end? If so, try restarting the nDroid Service (give it a few minutes to generate the files nDroid needs depending on the number of channels you have). You can then go to nDroid -> Settings and use 'Clear Data' to reset the nDroid app and next time you start it, it will go through a 'first run' download scenario. If that fails, zip and attach the nDroid Service logs.

I have done that numerous times and finally got 2 channels so sort of show up. It will only show for the today listings and only of the tablet version of the app. I can get one channel to stream with the bitrate set to the highest. Anything lower and it won't work. The other channel won't come through at all...just fails. And yea they work on the server... So that's a start...

Ohh and the channel will only work in avia not MX player.

Sorry, but as I said in a previous post in this thread, I have no control over playback of live tv.

I'm also still not sure what your actual problems are as you haven't zipped and attached your log files. Seriously...if you want someone to help you then help them to help you. Without concise information all I can do is second guess and I'm not very good at mind reading.

No don't misunderstand, this is nothing against you at all! I very very very much appreciate all the time you have put into this and all the time you have spent helping me. I am at a lack of time right now so I dont get to spend a lot working on the issues. I will try a couple more apps for playback and then if none of then work, I will zip up the logs and post them.

I hope I didn't put you off by my wording. Again sorry for the misunderstanding.

OK I got it playing the same on all devices and on all bit rates. Problem is no matter the bitrate, they all give pauses every 5 seconds or so. It continues but as you could imagine, its annoying . OK so which log do you need and at what point? Right before I hit play?

I was going to zip up all the logs but now android won't get the channel data so I can't tune a channel... It says it does but nothing is there. The server has all the channels...

Got the guide working again! here are the logs! YAY! Now just need to get the streaming working and i am good! SOO CLOSE! So whatcha think?
